The Power Group Process
(will require premium subscription)

The retail automotive industry has utilized a similar process for over 50 years as a successful tool to improve their operations by confidentially sharing data with a small group of approximately twenty non-competitive dealers. These dealers are about the same size, but don't compete in the same market. Now this same service is available to your industry. If you are a business owner with a premium subscription you are eligible to take advantage of this service. As a Power Group member you share data confidentially (see privacy statement), and quickly realize what opportunities exist to improve your business. And, best of all, you will be able to get that information from successful "been there, done that" resources. It is networking at its best, because the improvements are driven through an organized, focused methodology, resulting in quick improvements.

The example below illustrates how easy and effective the process is:

  1. First, you will complete a confidential business profile to sign up for a Group and be placed with approximately 9-19 same size non-competitive companies within your industry.
  2. Shortly after registration you will receive an email notification of the identity of the members of your Power Group. Each member will receive a confidential identification code that will only be known to members of that group. If you wish to opt out of that group, you may do so with an email and without any ramifications.
  3. Once part of a Power Group, you will receive monthly composite financial and operational data that compares your operation with members of your group.mThe purpose of this report is to identify specific areas of deficiency and provide a forum for discussion, and sharing of best practices among group members. Although these reports will be in detail, see the sample below for concept only (Dollars in thousands):

  4. If you have a question for your group about a specific operating area, simply click on the Description and an email will be sent with your question:
  5. Since not all users will report at the same time, the averages will be calculated only using collected data.
